National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Notification and Dates 2021, NTSE Important Dates, NCERT NTSE Scholarship 2021 Application Form Download.
The NCERT has circulated a scholarship for 10th students for their higher education. Scholarship has been implemented by the government to provide facilities to students who are facing financial crisis. Candidates will be selected according to their performance in qualifying round, which will be conducted by department of state educational research and training.

The NTSE is conducted at two Levels- Level-I and Level-II. For the eligibility at Level-I, students must have scoring the minimum eligible score can appear for the examination. After level-II exam, students are selected as per the merit for scholarships.

NCERT Scholarship Value
Scholarship will be conducted for higher education up to Doctorate level and Post Graduate level. Scholarship will be awarded to those students who are really talented in their studies. Students who want to do doctorate in Commerce, Social science, Medicine and Engineering can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for NTS Scholarship
  • According to the NTSE National Talent Search Examination students who are regular in 8th standard are eligible for this scholarship. As per the policy ST and SC must score 45% and for General 55% in 7th standard annual examination.
  • For NTS scholarship student’s age must be 8 to 18 years.
Fee for NCERT Application
  • For general category Rs. 25 will be charge for application fee.
  • For ST and SC candidates application fee is exempted.
Selection Procedure for NCERT Scholarship
  • Firstly, NCERT scholarship is conducted in two level one at 8th and another at 10th, and examination is known as State Level Talent Search Examination and conducted by states and Union Territories commission.
  • Second, examination is the national level talent search exam. This exam are conducted through two category Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and MAT Mental Ability Test.
  • MAT question consist of 100 which carry one marks each.
  • SAT question consist of 100 with multiple choice question and question are divided into different stream like 20 question for mathematic, 40 general science, and 40 for social science.
  • If students got through in first two tests they will proceed to personal interview.
