JRF Scholarship 2018 Application UGC Fellowship Apply Online and Important Dates

University Grants Commission (UGC) has published its notification for JRF Scholarship. Candidates who are looking for the scholarship can apply through online. The main purpose of scholarship of JRF is to provide an opportunity to candidates. This scholarship is provided by UGC to undertake the advanced study and do research in various subjects. Those who want to do research can apply the application before last day of application submission.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme
Willing candidates who are planning to apply for this fellowship should hold master degree in engineering, Technology, pharmacy with 55 % marks. For PHD Candidates have to hold an M.E, M.Tech.

Students who have scored well in their master degree in any course can apply for JRF scholarship application form 2016 or they can visit the official website. JRF Examination is the first test for admission to the Ph.D research programme through council's support. Test for fellowship are conducted at the 12 centers Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Srinagar and Varanasi.

  • Online submission of JRF applications starts on month of Dec 2016
  • Last date of online submission: 10th Dec 2016
  • Last date of submitting printouts of online application forms: 22nd Dec 2016
Usually test is schedule on month of the first or second week of July. over all 150 fellowships would be selected and 120 fellowships would be given for work in the field. The candidates who got selected for the JRF programme would be permitted to take admission for the Ph.D. programme in any University which is affiliated by the UGC.

SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped (PH) candidates will be given special consideration as per policy which is implemented by UGC.
